Issuing a Voucher or an EMD

Simple request: The issuance of a voucher/credit note/EMD is done upon simple request.
Transformation of a ticket: Any valid ticket can be transformed into a voucher/credit note/EMD.
Conditional refund: The voucher/credit note/EMD is refundable only if the original ticket was itself refundable.
Credit amount: Only the amount of the ticket and taxes is converted into voucher/credit note/EMD. Service charges are not included.

Using your travel credit voucher

Flexibility: Your travel credit voucher can be used to purchase a new ticket or for additional services offered by Madagascar Airlines.
Validity: A travel credit voucher is valid for 1 year from its date of issue.

Refunding Your Voucher

  • Conditions: The possibility of refunding a voucher depends on the original ticket conditions (refundable or non-refundable).
  • Non-Refundable Vouchers: A non-refundable voucher cannot be converted into cash under any circumstances. It must be used before its expiration date.
  • Non-Transferability: A voucher follows the conditions of the original ticket. If the original ticket is non-refundable, the resulting voucher is non-refundable and strictly personal, and cannot be transferred to a third party.
