Free baggage allowance
- On all TSARADIA flights, you have a free baggage allowance of 5 to 10Kg of unchecked baggage and 20 to 30Kg of checked baggage, depending on the cabin of the aircraft carrying you.
- In addition to your unchecked baggage, you may carry 1 accessory: handbag, laptop bag or other electronic device, small suitcase, bag for baby supplies.
- A baby has a free baggage allowance of 10Kg.
- The total dimension limit of unchecked baggage (1 standard hand-carried baggage inclusive of wheels and hands + 1 accessory is 115cm (L+w+h); such dimensions are subject to the total weight limit applicable to unchecked baggage.
- The sum of the 3 dimensions (L+w+h) of your checked baggage must not exceed 158cm.

Special baggage
- Upon booking, the passenger is required to inform the airline of any large, non-standard baggage that requires authorization for carriage.
- A garment bag is considered standard carry-on baggage.
- In the event that the dimensions and weight of the piece are out of the norm, the baggage will be sent in the hold with an additional payment of 190.000Ar flat rate on the internal network.
- The number of additional pieces of baggage may be limited depending on the type of aircraft.

Other sport equipment and special baggage:

- Any additional baggage will be charged as an item of 20Kg
- Any bulky baggage comprised of an item exceeding 32Kg must be dispatched as freight.

Oversized baggage
Upon reservation, the passenger must advise the airline of any oversized and non-standard baggage whose carriage requires an authorisation.
A garment bag is considered standard unchecked baggage.
When the dimensions and weight of an item exceed the standard, the baggage will be checked subject to an additional payment of a fixed charge of MGA 190,000 on domestic flights.
The limit number of additional baggage items will depend on the type of aircraft.
Cabin baggage restrictions
The following items are hazardous and cannot be taken onboard of Tsaradia flights.
Prohibited items in the cabin
In addition to dangerous goods, which are strictly prohibited on board the aircraft, you may not carry with you or in your carry-on baggage, for the safety of flight crew and passengers:
- Sharp objects
- Knives/ Scissors with a blade of 6cm or more
- Work tools (drill, saw... )
- Sports equipment (ski clubs, golf clubs, martial arts instruments... )
- Blunt objects
- Weapons or imitations, weapons cartridges
Restricted items in the cabin
You must meet certain conditions to carry, on you or in your carry-on baggage
- liquids (such as mineral water, perfume, drink, lotion...)
- cosmetics (such as cream, shower gel, mascara, shampoo)
- aerosols (deodorant type, lacquer)
- All your liquids, aerosols and gels (LAG) must:
- Fit in containers of less than 100 ml
- Be presented in a single closed transparent plastic bag of maximum 20 cm x 20 cm
However, you are authorized to carry in your carry-on baggage, in a quantity appropriate to the duration of the trip:
- foods for infants or young children.
- Liquid medicines needed during the flight, which must be accompanied by your prescription.
- liquid purchases made after security checks in shops or at distributors located in the embarkation zone, these products having themselves been checked before placing on the shelves.
- insulin for diabetic passengers, which must be accompanied by a prescription.

Animals
As soon as you have completed your reservation, you should check beforehand with the authorities:
- of the country of departure that the species is not a protected one
- of the country of arrival that the species may be introduced on its territory
- if at check-in, the animal is weighed together with its crate

Prohibited or Restricted Items
Due to safety regulations, some items aren’t allowed on board your Tsaradia flight. Explore what items are restricted or completely prohibited during travel.
These Items are not Allowed at any Time :
- Aerosol products (such as cooking spray or anti-static spray)
- Bleach, drain cleaners or pesticides
- Fireworks or explosives
- Gunpowder like Pyrodex, black powder, mace and pepper spray or bear deterrent
- Torch or blue flame lighters and all lighter refills
- Fuels (like gasoline or Sterno cans)
- Paints, stains or lubricant
- “Strike-anywhere” matches
- Meals Ready to Eat (MREs)
- Hoverboards, balance gliders, self-balancing boards or motorized riding suitcases that use lithium or lithium-ion batteries
- Items with refrigerants including refrigerators, air conditioners, freezers or dehumidifiers
Battery or Fuel-Powered :
For the safety of all passengers, we have strict guidelines about battery and fuel-powered items that are permitted aboard an Tsaradia aircraft.
Extra baggage
If the free baggage allowance indicated on your ticket is exceeded, an extra charge will be payable at check-in:
- MGA 30,000 per excess kilo, up to a maximum of 5Kg per baggage unit
- MGA 190,000 per extra unit of 20Kg, up to a maximum of 4 extra units per passenger
Acceptance of excess weight and baggage is subject to the operational load limits of the aircrafts. As such, the charges applicable to such excess can only be settled at the airport, on the day of the flight, once load availabilities have been verified.
